ICUCME is pronounced: “I see you — see me,” because seeing one another as whole human beings who share the same kinds of hopes and fears is the path to building real peace.

We are a grassroots anti-racist community organization, working to bring a constructive approach into dialogue about Israel and the Middle East. As a non-partisan organization, ICUCME is a steward and guardian of the quality of conversation about the Middle East.

To promote understanding and support peace, ICUCME embraces:

  • Fact-based, respectful dialogue
  • Mutual recognition
  • Cooperation
